We are a team of middle school students from Linkou Kang Chiao International School participating in the Cyberfair competition. Our research focuses on Taiwan’s semiconductor industry, which includes wafer fabrication and IC packaging and testing. Throughout this project, our goal is to understand the complex process behind micro semiconductor chips and spread this knowledge to wider audiences.. Our team’s research contains credible sources and expert interviews. We also organize information, design our website, and present complex semiconductor processes in a clear and simplified way. This project allowed us to make use of what we learned in science, social studies, language arts, and technology classes to a global topic. Beyond our research, this project helped us to develop important skills such as teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. By sharing our findings through this website, we hope to raise awareness of Taiwan’s contribution to the global semiconductor supply chain and inspire others to become proud of Taiwan.
